Why block license # in photos?

True, but my car is not connected in any way to my home address (it actually is registered to Toyota Motor Sales USA since my dad used to work there) so I do not really need to worry

Also, it is not exactly simple to go from seeing someones license plate to finding out things about them, the DMV stopped giving out personal info awhile ago

and now if the DMV does give out your personal info for any reason they have to notify you I believe

Its mostly privacy as the others stated in the beginning post. However now or days, all you have to do is look up a plate to get someones name and address and you can look them up in the internet :bash:. If you really want to get technical all you need is a name. Take my g/f's mother, somehow she was able to find out where I lived to spend my g/f's mail and stuff when my g/f moved into my house. I figured she would have called but she did it somehow. If she can do it (shes barely computer literate), whats to stop anyone else from doing it! Before you guys ask, yes, I am unlisted :rant: :soapbox:
