Why doesn't anyone make a 15" length coil spring?

it seems everyone makes 12"-20" with the exception of a 15". Does anyone know why or know of a manufacturer that makes a 3x15" coilover spring?

I am also looking for a 15" spring for my 6112's and haven't found one. Wondering if eibach could make me one....

If you need a 15" there are several companies that do custom (both length and rate) springs.

Given the variety of rates you can get on both 14" and 16" springs what are you trying to achieve with a 15"? Personally, I run 14" 700lb springs. I'm trying to think how that would be any different than a 15" 650lb, for example. Can you explain to a layman what you're trying to achieve?

Anyway, reach out to the companies that offer custom springs (google 'custom coil springs') and I'm sure you can get what you want.

I want to upgrade my coil rate, but I also want to decrease my preload on the spring. I am currently on the top perch on my 6112 with a 14" spring. I would like to go to the lowest perch (1" lower) and go to a 15" spring.

I have the TRD 6112's from the FJ kit so there is no perch adjustment. The FJ kit has a lower perch and uses a 3x14" coil for a 1" gain over stock. I would like a 2" lift but not 3". Toytec and others make spacer/isolator kits but I would rather go with a coil if I can.

I am looking for the exact same thing for the exact same reason. I think this spring Dobinsons is going to manufacture will work perfectly. Unfortunately it probably will not be available for sale until October or November 2018.

Hey, did those dobinsons coils come out? I havent found any 15” coils unless i custom order which costs alot more.

15” coils

I am trying to get 15” coils as well for my 6112’s. I had the passenger side coil break in half on the 3rd notch up just hitting a pothole, i ordered 16” 600lb coils from eibach but on the bottom notch they are compressed almost 2 inches which are pretty stiff to the point where the shock really isnt working. It drives and feels good and eliminated the nose dive but any offroading and it just doesnt have any up travel becuase the sring is so tight. I am looking for a 15” so the spring can be have less tension on the bottom notch while still prividing the lift and allow up travel so the shock can do its job. King and eibach only make the 14” or 16” in our application. Dont want to put the bilstein coils back in when i already had one break in half on the 3rd notch.

I emailed Dobinson's a while back inquiring about the 15" coil spring production status and they responded saying that they decided against it, not enough interest. He suggested King springs.
