He reviews all kinds of crazy cars, and he's really not too far off on most of his points on the 5th gen!
They hardly have any more features than a 3rd gen, and get the same- or worse- fuel mileage! *

Never seen his reviews before. Seemed like he wasn’t qualified to review an offroad capable rig. I could tell he was a “car guy” and was missing the point of a vehicle like the TRD Pro. Sure it’s lacking more modern features, grossly overpriced, yada yada yada. If you want your $50k worth and care about tech features and street performance and don’t offroad, get a BMW/Lexus/Mercedes SUV or something, not this. :noidea:

I think this guy forgot one important point (the asset value) or resale in other words other 50k suv will depreciate much more rapidly compared to a 5th gen specially a trd pro thus making them a better asset to own.

Yes, seriously! I'm amazed that there are car guys who have never encountered Doug's videos before. But anyway, this is an overwhelmingly positive review. Anything more than that would basically be fanboy drivel.
