Bro, what is holding you back?, have seen your posts debating the V6 vs. V8 issue. What are your needs?
155k on my V6, wish I went with a V8... Those numbers are so close I don't think it really matters.
Seriously?? Youre still deciding?!?!?
.....cummon, bro...

There's nothing wrong with the V6, but i know a couple people that look back and wish they got the V8...

I even bought a 2010 Sequoia, titanium silver metalic, 5.7V8 SR5...and i went back, got nearly all my $ back and got a 2008 SE V8 4Runner!!
So...go get that V8!!

...you know you wanna!
I haven't owned a V8 since the 70's. Never had the need....nor want. My V6 is MORE then powerful enough for my use....It has no problem what-so-ever towing my 3,000lb camper. If you think you need a V8...go for it...But do you NEED it or just WANT it. Either case..get what you want...it's YOUR money.
bro its really to depend on your needs or desire. I live in CA, dont take my truck off road, maybe plan to go snow boarding twice a year, there is no snow where I live, but I love my V8 4x4 and don't regret it. Yea sometimes you think, man i wish i had gotten the V6, but then you have one of those days when im driving and i decide to floor it, then i just smile to myself and appreciate V8 power.
yes gas mileage is slightly different but its really going to depend on the driver, the driving conditions, and the mods you put on your truck.
You can have a V6 with a 3" inch lift, huge tires, and a driver that floors it every time the light turns green, your gonna get pretty crappy mileage.
The last time I filed up, I babied the V8 and got 17 with 80% city driving (i dont have any mods on mine, bone stock).

HA! I am a D.C. dweller and I just bought the V8 and love it. I purchased mine less than 10k after the timing belt and water pump was done. That gives me 80k to go.. that is a lot of driving.
I drove a 2006 Black V8 SR5 2WD tonight... So smooth I couldn't really tell any difference for the V6’s I’ve tested.
