Why the "No Clutch Engage Button" ?

Why is there that "No Clutch Engage" Button above your left knee in the 1st gens? I know what it does, but why did they have that in the vehicle?

There's times it's handy to not have to engage the clutch to start it like maybe in certain off road situations if you stalled or something.

If you ever stall on a steep incline, that button becomes priceless! No more half footing brake and clutch pedals for the quick switch.

The thought behind it is that if you stall out in a precarious position you might need the ability to move the truck forward with the starter until it's safe to start it. Think of being stuck on the edge of a cliff and stalling out going towards the edge. You might need to back up a few feet before its safe to try pushing in the clutch.

These motors will actually start in 4lo 1st while rilling too.
