Why Was t4r4life Banned?

Just wondering how someone can be banned for this post.

There is no profanity, inappropriate material or personal attacks at all. Kind of a joke if we are being censored that much on this site. I know it is a temp ban, but that comment is extremely harmless and is meant to be a joke. Definitely an abuse of power and extremely uncalled for. I hope some of the other mods can give me a good explanation.

And I agree BTW. One of the best things that I like about this site is that most people here don't take themselves too seriously. If you can't look at that comment as a lighthearted joke, then there is an issue.

At that point it wasn't a full ban. Not really your concern, no matter how much he complains on other threads.

If we have to watch out on what we say that much, it is most definitely our concern. I would say 90% of my comments have some sort of sarcastic remark in there someplace.

And if it wasn't a full ban at that point, are you saying it is now?
 
yes. It was an infraction ban, meaning short time ban. But when i get an attack like this, it has gone to another level.

"you are a piece of ˟˟˟˟ you know that, ˟˟˟˟ing worthless, you can ban me all you want, people know what you did was bull˟˟˟˟, please do us all a favor get the ˟˟˟˟ outta t4r.org no one wants you around period."

How is it not our concern? I never looked at the t-shirt thread, so I have no idea on what was going on there. All I can tell is that someone got a temporary ban for what seems to be a harmless statement. If I am wrong, then tell me. Don't tell me that it's not my concern.
 
The original infraction was the quote I put above. All he did was make a joke about momo's shirt and he got banned. Pretty weak IMO.

Also momo, as a user of this forum I think it is my right to know the reasoning for the ban. Perhaps I want to know so i don't make the same mistake later. As a moderator I feel that you should be able to compose a response a lot better than "not really your concern." I have had no problem with you before and have ordered your stickers, but if his initial comment was a reason for a ban, then I feel you are not justified for the ban.

What t4r4life wrote after is not justified and he can take responsibility of his actions.

As a member of this forum you know how to play by the rules, and respect other members. You guys feel free to contact another mod. It is not going to be discussed here.

Then where can this be discussed? It seems more than one member has questions and/or issues that are still unanswered. And what better form to do it than in the General Discussions? Maybe Off Topic?

momo - t4r4life didn't do anything wrong to deserve a ban. If he attacked you on yotatech, ban him from there.

t4rf4line & momo, if you have beef with each other, take it outside.

And I agree with Hepar - "Not really your concern" - we're not running a totalitarian country here. It's everyone's concern.
