Why we build our rigs...

Preface: I was up at the lodge talking to some local friends, and our lodge is 5.5 miles off the highway. 7 miles down the main road is a separate road called '2 Mile Road' which is a tricky road even in dry conditions....

I was told 'Adam, after first snow vehicles can't make it to the top of 2 mile....'

That was a challenge for me!!

Awesome but I think you should have titled the thread "Why I live in CO" :)

I'm down here in San Diego and it is an hour and a half drive to the desert. A lot of fun sure but no snow and pretty low altitude trails.

Thanks guys!

Yeah Brian it is true that the Colorado roads can be a bit more fun than some others...but you get back at me when it takes me 3 hours to get a gallon of milk compared to whatever it takes you!!

Or… You could come wheel in CO and bring me a giant ice chest filled with carne asada burritos and rolled tacos with a sh*t ton of guac.
Only two things I miss about CA… Real mexican food and the desert.

Okay, I am not Mexican but what is real Mexican food? I have gone to a few restaurants here in town and a couple in the bay area and they all taste the same.

THIS IS REAL MEXICAN FOOD!

From a little taco-shop on Clairemont Mesa Blvd in San Diego.

Left: Tostada de Ceviche $4

Right: Carne Asada Taco $3
