wierd starting um help?

Ok so im new to this 4runner scene but starting this thing is as follows:

key in
flash the lights
clutch in
turn key and viola it starts

or
key in
clutch cancel
clutch in
turn key - starts

so thats the only way it will kick over, kinda wierd right? i dont know where to even start for looking at this issue, any one have any ideas?:shrug:

Found and removed the kill switch
