Wife begging for a 4Runner

I own a s2000 and a lil tacoma truck for work. She is begging for a 4runner. Got acouple options but the miles seem to be high. What's the norm on these things? Found one that is a 04' V8 for 19k with 25kmiles. This a good deal? Or should i find her the V6?
Acouple others were V6 for around 15-19k but miles were anywhere from 50k-70k miles.

Dont know shit about 4runners but I know enough to trust the forum gods

Can't go wrong with either engine. If your budget permits, I say look for a 2005 or newer. Reason being, Toyota gave both engines powertrain upgrades. The V6 got a 5 speed automatic, same as the V8's transmission and the V8 got VVT-i giving it a nice bump in HP and torque.

V6 4WD models have selectable 2WD mode and a timing chain.

V8 4WD models are full time 4WD. The V8 is quieter and a bit smoother than the V6 and the gas mileage penalty for the bigger engine is minimal.
