Sounds like you have covered all the bases, except taking her out for a nice dinner. If possible, have the roses waiting on the table once you get to the restaraunt, and give her the jewelry at the restaraunt as well.

my most sincere apologies for not keeping you guys informed as to what has happend afterwords. There was dinner, wine, gifts then we came home aaaaahhhhhhhh you all know how it went from there....blackhawks were on and i watched the game
