Wig-Wags

I know I have seen threads on this before but cant find them. Has anyone put wig-wags on their high beams? Im thinkin about picking up a module, but didnt know how hard they were to wire in and such. I need some warning light other than emergency flashers while working scenes. Any feedback is appreciated.

I have some Whelen Vertex LED lights in my 4runner. I also have some Whelen TIR3 lights in my grille. The Vertex lights are in my reverse lights and the front ones are in my fog lights. I'm pretty sure that you could install them anywhere you wanted to, but I didn't want take apart my headlights.

Nice set up. Looks like you have invested some money into it. I found a headlight/ tail light set up online for $20 just making sure it works on yotas before buying. Thanks for the thread links.

wig-wags

i haven't installed any on my 4runner but i did install them on my departments john deere Gator. very simple to install and a nice low cost add on. its just a small control module that mounts in an hour or so. most have the switch built right into the module. you can get one off of LSHlights.com, strobesnmore.com or galls.com to name a few for as little as $30. just check with your fire chief aswell as the local police chief as you may need a seperate permit for wig-wags.

Thanks for the websites. Like most departments, mine requires a signature from the Fire Chief as well as the Sheriff before running emergency lights.
