Wilbanks 4Runner Build

wow! I have not been on in a while. I decided to wait a little bit on the lift till I could purchase a good lift. Meanwhile i have installed a Magnaflow 18" Muffler, 1 12" Kicker sub, a new head unit and some pretty good wheels. The radio amp and sub were Christmas gifts. I bought my muffler and my Dad purchased me the tires before i went on a 6 hour drive for senior trip. Her are some pictures that you can enjoy :eyebrows:

The tires are from a Canadian tire company called Sailun. They are 275/70R16 Sailun Terramax A/T. I love them and not near the price of name brand although i would love some Wrangler Duratrac's. Hope you enjoyed the pictures! And here is a link to a video of my muffler incase you would like to listen!

Im back! It's been a while and some things have changed. As you can see in the photo I'm sitting a little higher :reddance: and you might not be able to see the LED pods i installed along with the CBI ditch bracket. I went with a toytec front spacer lift and 890's in the back for a total of 3" of lift. I didn't go full OME because I'm a broke 18 y/o who can only afford to do big upgrades on my birthday and christmas lol. So September 20th marked my 2 year anniversary with this fun thing and I was tired of seeing it's ass drag. The tires might come for christmas unless anybody wants send me a late bday present? ;) *COUGH* *COUGH* Oh and I changed some spark plugs and wires! I'll get some supa sexy pictures soon with my moms DSLR and maybe just maybe I can be in the 2016 calendar but i'll probably wait till I get some bigger tires. Im serious about that birthday present lol. Hope yall enjoyed this small update and until I get those other pics taken here is one with my iPhone. Thanks for looking!

Your CV axle boots MAY be at risk of ripping open with a 3" lift. Just a heads up.

As long as you're not pounding trails with your mild lift, you'll be okay in my opinion.

Don't rush modding your vehicle. It's understandable to want to get things done on a budget...but you don't want to do the same thing twice.

Keep it up!

I offroad pretty hard and my cvs are fine. I've got a 3 inch suspension lift as well. It's vehicle specific. Some runners don't mind the increased cv angles and some hate it. It's good to see another young guy modding! If you're looking for cheap tires check out Craig'slist.

I have read a lot about the CV boots! What do you think about the CV boot stretch mod? Good or bad? I don't plan on wheeling it anytime soon it's my DD and can't afford for it to be broken. Better safe than sorry. haha

I hope mine doesn't mind it haha! I don't plan on wheeling it hard till I get another DD (not anytime soon)
