Wildomar OHV Sunday 1-17

I am going to take my kids to Wildomar for a little wheeling with a long break at the picnic area for play time and picnic lunch then some more wheeling on the way out. I know it is basic mild wheeling, but it is a good family day and local. Has 2 forestry service "pit style" toilets and picnic camp area on one end. So very kid and GF/ Wife friendly.

So the plan is meet at the Ranger station close to the turn off on HWY 74 (approx 300meters) at around 8:30. Get to the staging area of the OHV area let the kids out for Potty break then get in and wheel for a while and slowly make way over to the picnic area break for a while then get back in do a little more wheeling on way out and usually finish by 1 or so. This area can be done with a stock vehicle, most of it is 2wd friendly also. I do take some of the narrower trails so some brush marks are possible.

I think you are looking at my calendar somehow and planning all your trips when I am unavailable!! What's up with that? Well, unfortunately I won't be able to make it. I'm flying to Florida tomorrow for a backpacking trip with my brothers and won't be back until Wednesday of next week. Well have fun and I still owe you a call.

Ok so people say dont schedule for Saturday, Sunday works better so I schedule for Sunday and still cant make it..LOL oh well cant win. Have fun on your trip and let me know when you want to go, I can usually get out ot Wildomar or maybe Cleghorn since they are both local and wont burn a lot of gas.

I did confirm with the Ranger station that it is currently open however if we get rain tomorow then it will be closed. If this happens we will change the run to Cleghorn.

Hopefully it does not rain but if it does then I don't mind going to cleghorn.
