Will 2010 4Runner 17" rims fit 2005?

Haven't been on this forum in a few years, but it's time for new tires on my 2005 4Runner V8 Limited. I've got 47K miles on the stock Dunlops and they're just about shot. I think I've settled on Bridgestone Revo 2s, either 265/65 R17 or 265/70 R17, but thought about putting some different wheels on it, too, just to freshen it up a little.

Will 17" rims from a 2010 4Runner fit my 2005 without problems? What about FJ rims? Any preference between the 265/65 vs 265/70s or possible fitment issues. How about going to an 18" rim or 20" from other Toyota models, like 4Runner, Seq., Tundra, etc.?

I'm open to suggestions for rim and Revo 2 combos, so let's hear 'em.

Any problems to switch over the TPMS?

What about adding a small lift? I know Burtman has some options, so let's hear some suggestions about these kits, too. While I'm putting on the new tires and rims, I could also add a lift kit, but not looking for anything extreme, just something to raise and level things out a bit (I've noticed the rear is higher).

How about a 2010 17" 4Runner rim set with Revo 2s in 285/70/17 with the Burtman 3" in front, 2" rear lift? The tire height(diameter) is 32.8" and the tread width is 8.5" according to TireRack. Would there be any rubbing problems?

I know I am responding to an old post, but I am wondering the same thing and I didn't see any responses. Just recently bought a 2010 SR5 and want to upgrade to the limited wheels. Was thinking about taking the 2010 SR5 wheels and putting them on my 2005 Limited. Any thoughts?
