You know I have heard that one before where it's weak stuff but others say there good. What's the real thing

Just real thin gauge steel, and shitty mounting spots. If you want a good tube bumper and want to save, go to lowrangeoffroad and order a trailgear bumper for a 1st gen tacoma. i paid 300$ plus 45 for shipping when it was on sale.

I modified the mounts to fit my runner. The outcome was that it sat too low. Although I did get it to work it wasn't ideal.

Iron bull makes very thick heavy duty bumpers and you can customize them the way you want them with winch mounts and shackles and lights and guards they are a great option As well ... the 96 to 98 4runners have longer bumper horns compared to 99 to 00 and 01 to 02 that is a factor...
