will it be ok to cut this off?

I just put a 2 1/2 front 1 1/2 rear daystar and 255/70/18 Revo's on my 4runner.. I'm having a serious rub issue on the inside fender when turning the steering wheel and hitting a bump at same time.. would it hurt to cut a small area where it rubs off of the fender itself? any rust issues i should be concerned with? I've already cut most the mud flap off and it helped some but a small section of the fender needs to go os has anyone done this before?

You could have an alignment done and have them adjust the caster slightly forward or right to the edge of the limit and see if that helps. As long as both sides are close to each other and not to far over the limit it should not be a problem. The caster on my 08 is slightly out of spec after my lift. (toe & camber are perfect) 2.2 Degrees on one side and 2.4 on the other. Spec is 2.5 to 4.0 if I remember right. Which means mine are slightly further towards the rear than "ideal" The wheel looks pretty centered in the wheel well thou and my tires are wearing fine and I have no rub (265/70/17s). I assume you have no rub on the front of the fender... The front of the fender is much easier to trim and looks perfect when it is done. See J.A.'s write up on the bottom of his wheel spacer page.
