Will lubricating the joints make the clunk go away?

Will lubricating the propellor shaft and everything else in the manual make the clunk noise go away?
or is the clunk there for life of car?
or is there another way to fix the clunk?

Grease them slip joints, just search there has to be a 1000 threads on this by now.

Bob98SR5 did a great write up on lubing the driveshaft. I dont know if the link is here or if not search on Yotatech under maintenance as well.

thanks bulldog, yeah on my next service of 30,000 miles I will have the dealer lube everything. Currently I'm at 21,000 miles, is it ok to wait until then?

Just tell them to do it at the 25k service, it will get rid of it earlier. You shouldn't have issues if you wait, but the earlier the better. Just make sure they do it, make sure they put it in the work order and then check that it is done before you collect the Runner. If you have to phone before you collect or if you wait check with the service manager before you pick up the Runner.
