Will seats from a 97 fit a 2001?

What about the fender flares?

Might have found a set of leather seats...depending on condition I might try to put them in.

The seats will bolt up, but if they are powered they will not move/adjust without some custom wiring. What kind of flares do you have now and what kind are you wanting to put on...SR5, Limited?

I don't have any flares on my 4Runner right now...it was a base model.

I wonder if I can take the brackets off of the bottom of my current cloth (manual sliding) seats and put them on the bottom of the leather seats to bypass a custom wire. If not, what would be involved in wiring up something like that? Just running a power wire? The only wiring to the bottom of my seats right now is to let you know to put on your seatbelt...which I unplugged b/c my dogs jump in the front seat and the dancing man pops up.

If the seat frames and cushions are ok, you could just swap the covers.

The thin early-style SR5 flares like mine will work without any modding (you may need to buy the screw tabs that go in the fenders, but these flares can be hard to find. The Limited flares require drilling several holes in the body to mount them.
