Will sparco seats fit? 1986 t4r

Will any sparco seats or similar brand (racing bucket seats) fit in a 1986 toyota 4runner? I like the seats and I want to know if I can install them myself or if I will have to have them professionally installed?

well you can always make custom brackets if they dont and they are a universal style seat so they probably wont fit directly. i welded up some seat brackets for my friends Accord last year and they worked just fine.

you do have to keep in mind "deck" height of the seat. the 4runners are fairly high, and if sparco is lower, then you will have so slide a few phone books under your ass. good idea though. any ideas where to get cheap sparco or similar seats?

but if you have to build custom mounts then you can make them the correct height....

very good point, and yes it could be done, but it would look like it was on stilts, and a little unproportioned
