Will stock 18" rim replace stock 17" rim

Probably a dumb question, but can I replace my 17" rims with stock 18" rims? I just want to be sure before I buy them.

In addition, these 18" rims were off a 4runner that was written off in an accident. How do I know for sure that the rims are still good?

What year is your 4Runner? It'll definitely work with a 4th gen (2003-present) and probably third gens as well.

The best way to check the rims is to have a tire shop inspect them. Visually looking at them, you could tell any cosmetic damages, but if it's warpped or out of round it might not be detectible by looking.
