Will the snow tires on our Suburban fit my 4Runner?

Well theres snow on the ground. I'm wondering if our snow tires that we generally run on our suburban will fit on my 1997 stock 4runner.

This is a picture from the internet, but I think its the same wheel, and the wheels are in storage but if you guys can give me a list of things to measure to see if they will fit that would be great.

I'm thinking of plasti dipping them just to see if I like black wheels on my white runner, but don't want to do all the work just to find out they wont fit.

What size are the tires?
So are the tires mounted on those wheels?
The bolt pattern on the 4runner is 6 on 5.5".
You also want a backspacing of about 4.5".

GM half ton trucks and SUV's have 6x5.5 bolt pattern and back spacing I think is 4.5" on alloy wheels and 5" on steel for trucks after 99 up to 2007 iirc.

Idk what the hub opening is on either the 4Runner or GM truck though.

If it has 16" wheels you should just mount up the tires to your existing wheels. Those steel wheels do not have the correct hub-centric mounting for our trucks, which can cause issues with vibration.

You didn't mention what year suburban, but more than likely the hub opening on that wheel is too small to mount on your 4Runner.

haha. Sound dumb but we don't have a jack, just riser ramps.
Thanks though everybody. I have another set of wheels I can use, just didnt want to have to take off and remount those tires

The vehicle should have a jack.
It might be good to try it to make sure it works and where the lift points are before you need it.

And while you're at it, check the air pressure in your spare. I had to use mine and the bottom of the tire was flat when I lowered the truck back down.

I don't know about the newer toyotas (newer being a relative term), but I know for my 60, you had to drill out the hub area in order to get chevy rally wheels to fit. The toyota hub is larger than the chevy one.
