Will these wheels fit my '87?

8 tires and aluminum wheels for '95, '96 troopers

16x8 aluminum wheels from a 95/96 Isuzu Trooper.

I can get them cheap, paint (or Plasti-Dip) them, and put some 16" offroad rubber on them.

I thought the 80's toyotas had one of the larger center hole diameters out there, 4.25" if im not mistaken. More than likely the center will be smaller than your hubs casing. Maybe not though...

The center bore, per the reference I linked above, puts the center bore requirement on the Toyota's at 106 (mm, I assume) and the Trooper's at 108.

However, I am concerned about backspacing. Before purchasing I'd found an online reference putting the Trooper's wheel backspacing at medium, or +20...I believe that equals about 4-3/4" on an 8" wheel. Instead, the actual backspacing looks to be about 5-1/2"-6". Don't know how or if I'm going to overcome that problem.

Now I don't even know what I have. The wheels won't work for me because the backspacing is about 5-1/2". But worse, I'm not confident they came off an Isuzu Trooper as the seller told me. The center bore is only about 102mm, not big enough for a Toyota, nor a Trooper per the reference I posted before.

Ugh!!!
