Will this muffler be to loud?

So I'm getting serious about a new muffler and I have narrowed it down to these mufflers with this exhaust tip, but I am worried it will be to loud. The reason why I am worried is because they are already pretty loud exhaust mufflers and they are really short around 12-14 inches. Can any one advise?

Too loud is relative. What might be too loud to me WP,ay not be to you. But generally speaking, a muffler that short would tend to fall into the too loud category.

Well I have a pretty high tolerance. I mean I'm a male teenager in high school. I want loud! but I don't need a cop to pull me over for a loud exhaust especially sense I drive pretty aggressively, I also like to my foot in it and I don't want to much attention.

Haha looks like you had a lot of fun, but I think I've made my choice.

DOUS ran his truck with no muffler and it was loud but as long as you have something on there and exit it behind the rear tire, it will be fine.

I don't think anything is louder than a glasspack. I ran 2 glasspacks on my 1UZ powered hotrod this summer, I hated it....sooo freakin loud. I added two spintech mufflers and now its nice.

The mufflers you picked out, I run the magnaflow version of them on my race truck which is 3RZ powered. It's loud, but not overbearing, but maybe its because I always have a full face helmet on...lol

I have a 14" Magna. It is loud, but I don't think it's too loud.

Yeah I'm pretty sure I'm gonna go with the flow-master series 40 knock off and make that a side exit.

Louder is probably better, that way people will have more of a chance to get out of your way before you hit them.

You must understand I don't drive like a moron, but I drive in California the people in my city drive like idiots. Driving aggressively is a good way to get keep others in check some times a simply lane change can be stupid. After school gets out when I put my turn signal an idiot will speed up so I cant change lanes. I was getting the the point of not even using my turn signals.

I want loud though, but not silent. I feel like the stock exhaust on the 4runner is almost silent.

Now that sounds more how i would want mine, not loud, low tone. .

I've had Loud to me this is normalish lol
