Hi, Wll Firestone Destination LE P270/70R17 tire fit my stock 2005 Sport 4runner without rubbing or other problems? Thanks for the help.:awais:

My guess is that it will rub. BFG AT KO in 265/70/17 rubs a little...so, the Firestones will rub.

BTW, are you sure that you got the size right?? I have never seen a 270 series tires before....
 
your right, I typed in the wrong size. It should be P265/70R17, the handbook has both sizes listed. and i want the larger tire if possible.:confused: :confused:

Many have chosen that size with nothing but good reports.

Thai is right about the BFG K/O's. There's something about the squareness of this tires' shape that gives it some upper control arm rubbing. None of the others seem to do it. In fact a couple of people have used 275/70/17's with only minimal rubbing with the wheel turned all the way. Search the username Spaceman for pics.

I had 275s on my 04'. Only rubbed when I had the wheel all the way over with a significant downhill slope.

They were Firestone Destinations. Awesome tire. Very aggressive tread and appearance and they were like clouds on the pavement.

I'll try to find a pic and post it.
