Will This Work on a 4Runner?? VSC Disable

Found this link somewhere, wondering if it works on my 05' V8? I don't guess there's much advantages to turning off the VSC w/o the diff locked other than playing in the mud, but would be nice to know. I may go try it, just didn't know if it was already on here somewhere I couldn't find.

I got a 97 Rav4. Lucky for me my 06 PSD Ford has none of this burdens. good luck and it helps to be calm doing this mod.eace:

I was reading that post, that lead me to the rav4 trick to turning of VSC w/o doing the full mod. I prolly will install a switch anway, but didn't know if the directions the rav4 used to turn it off worked or not. I understand you can also unplug a couple plugs from the master cylider, but again, just curious if the "brake off, brake on, etc" would work w/ our 4runner. I'll go try it

Followed the instructions for the rav4, looks like it doesn't work on our 4runners. Guess I'll look into the switch. I don't have a problem locking the center diff if I need VSC off, but it would be nice to flip a switch and have more power to the back wheels w/o VSC interfeering

there is something you can unplug in the hood that disables everything that assists you, as in the ABS, VSC, TRAC, and you will be left with just brakes and no computer help. i cant explain where its located but its not too hard to find
