Winch Bumpers TE ?

Any one know of a company thats making winch front bumper / trail guards for the 2010 Trail Edition, i have contacted all the suppliers i know and no one has them as of yet. im planning a trip to the Arctic Circle and Alaska in June would like to get bumper winch and sliders for then

any help appreciated

A member on this forum, BFLAN is selling sliders that are pretty nice.
Also Shrockworks is selling sliders . I have a set on order from them and should be shipping in the next couple of weeks.
Nobody is making a winch mount yet or a front bumper to mount one on. May have to go custom as the aluminum bumper is right inside that lower radiator grill and could be mounted there on the bumper.

thanks yes i contacted ARB , they are working on one but said it will be a little delayed, and yes probably summer.

i will have a look for the sliders thanks, i saw one guy on here had made some sweet looking ones.

i also contacted rockyroad outfitters last year about bumpers, they make some cool jeep stuff i liked a lot when i had my jeep. they where interested in using my 4runner to make one but they where somewhere like Utah and im in BC, plus it was back when delivery date was a little sketchy ....i may have to revisit that.

where abouts in BC are ya? i'm south van here. :D

i'm lookin forward to an arb winch bumper as well but since mine is a DD for the most part i dont think i'll be throwing one on until a ways down the road.
 
I don't think you'll need a winch anywhere on a public maintained road, unless you venture into some old logging roads or atv trails.
 
no, i wouldn't think i would need one on a public highway.

and even in the rough i have managed to get through , with the gadgets it got through old logging trails easily that my old 3rd gen SR5 struggled with , but the whinch is mainly just peace of mind your fine without one until that one time you need it and are stuck in the middle of nowhere.
 
this is interesting to hear about arb making one... i know they make them for just about every vehicle out there but they all look the same and i dont know how that is going to look on the 2010 4runner because of the front end seems to have too many lines to try to match for a company that doesnt really change anything about their bumpers except for the mounting and the top hoops for some different vehicles with factory lights.

any updates on the bumper? has anyone called recently?
 
Latest from ARB.

We test fit the first prototype front bumper last week. It needs some minor changes and we will then test fit prototype #2 and hope it is completely correct. We should be in production by the end of September.
Suspensions will be test fit in a couple of weeks.

Talked to ARB on Tuesday and they said to look at bumpers around SEMA. Maybe earlier, but if you've ever dealt with ARB, you know that earlier is not in their vocabulary. SEMA is still 12 weeks out. yay...
