Winch in Stock Bumper

Has anyone attempted to mount a Warn winch behind the stock bumper of a 4th Gen? Looks like an option if you reroute a coolant line and the middle bumper support.

Good luck getting your hands on the design. People have tried and they will do the work for you, but you better have your wallet open. I'm sure if you love fabricating you could pull it off.

Thats pretty sweet , I wonder how that truck is set up ?

One thought is a receiver hitch set up in front ( one member did that here do a search for it )

You can them mount the winch on the front or back , what ever is needed. I think that is way smarter than only having a front mounted winch. Plus you can take it on and off with hitch pin and set the wiring up so you can just plug in front and back .

That would be my .02 worth of advice.

That very 4Runner minus all the decals/graphics was on the used lot where I got mine for the longest time. I'm not sure when it was finally sold, but it's been there for at least half a year when I use to drive by the dealership commuting to my old job.

According to my sales rep, it's one of three that was use debut the 4Runner in its expedition on Mt. Everest.

It would be nice to know the specs on the truck , obviously a V6 , but tires , wheels , lift , ect....

Damn nice truck , surprised it took that long to sell.
