J JohnMc Senior Member Jun 29, 2015 #5 As an alternative to fabricating a front receiver there's this: http://www.amazon.com/33025-Front-Receiver-Trailer-Hitch/dp/B000CQDPWC Wire sockets front and rear and you can store the winch inside out of the weather and use it on either end of the car.
