Wind Deflectors/ Wind Vents

I have been looking at different makes and styles of wind deflectors ( not even sure if thats the "correct" name) and I've noticed there is a wide difference in price, ranging from about $35.00 to $95.00. Is there a certain manufacturer that you all would recommend?

I am looking to get a dark tinted set, not the clear ones, and do not want to get a "cheap" set. I would rather pay the extra money if there actually was a difference in product. Any help would be great, and maybe mention what make of wind deflectors you have on your rigs. Thanks.

are you talking about the "bug guard" that goes on the front of the hood? if so, you can order a factory one from a toyota dealer, AVS is another brand, then theres WADE,GTO,LUND, etc. there all different styles. ive got the factory one myself,to me, its a little thinner but is still raised off the hood, , some of the others are wider or lay closer to the hood & harder to clean behind. checkout the same brands for the rain guards around the windows, there are the ones that go inside the window channel itself, others are taped on the outside around the window.

I think I paid around $60 for a set of 4 for my 4Runner and they're made by AVS and are the stick on type and I've never had a problem with mine in the 4 years they've been on my truck. Quality wise there shouldn't be a bifg diff but some prefer stick-on and other prefer the in-channel version which fit inside the top of the window.

I have the ones made by Wade and am pleased with them. I got them off Ebay and I'm pretty sure they were less than $50.
