Wind whistle by my ear

It's not bad, but it's irritating. And my hearing leaves much to be desired. I've got a modest wind whistle seemingly coming from the upper drivers door area. 140K on an '08, the seals look and feel perfect, no tears, nice and soft, etc.

But I hear it, and again, my ears aren't great. I keep pushing here and there, around the window, around the door, and nothing makes any difference.

Answers, suggestions, get earplugs?

Do you have a roof rack? If so look for any slits or gaps in the covers. Buddy had a setup with Thule cross bars for holding his bike. One of the end caps likely cracked din the sun and blew off, Now the rack made the worst high pitched whistle. Like someone blowing over a pen cap that only got louder as speed increased. Dude is older than me a spent a lot of time around machines and aircraft. He couldn't hear that frequency but it dove me crazy on a short trip to grab lunch. A piece of duct tape over the end of the holes and problem was solved.

I've heard similar riding in rigs with aftermarket racks and on my 06 sport when one of the covers for the front of the rack was starting to fail and was lifting.

So check your rack and any accessories on the roof.
