On my 07 sr5, when i press the window lock button i am unable to roll
the windows down from the drivers seat, including the rear.

As i remember, i thought the point was that the other seats cant roll their windows down, but i can.

is this a known issue.. seems to have happened only recently and intermittently(spellcheck) .

tried to search, couldn't find anything.. Help is appreciated fellas.:fishing:

Can't help ya but I can confirm that I can control all windows from the drivers side when I have window lock on.

So I'm the only one who's had or having this issue?:moping:

I can confirm that I can only control the driver's window with the window lock on in my '04. This makes sense so that I can get in and out at parking and toll gates without unlocking the windows.

Same thing happens for me on my 2005. I think it's annoying and not intuitive, but it's also not worth the energy to try to change it.

:scratches head: i thought the whole point of having a window lock button was so that you can lock the other doors from being able to roll their windows down, like kids, but the driver still be able to control all windows.

No, your not. My '06 SR5 does the same thing. Matter of fact, I just realized it did that the other day because it really screwed me up.

I was coming home from work and rolled down all of the windows (including rear). When I got home, I went to roll them all up and none of them would go up except for the driver side. I thought I had blown a fuse so I went and checked them all with no joy. Then I used my key to roll up the back window so I knew at that point they had power and with the rear window having a separate switch as the sides, I knew that wasn't issue either. So as I was standing there scratching my head thinking WTF?, I noticed the window lock was on (must have hit it accidentally after rolling the windows down?)

Boy, did I feel stupid but like you, I thought that button was only supposed to lock the other switches and not the drivers side? That's the way it worked on other cars I've had with a window lock.

Ok... so I'm not going crazy. haha

No, you're not. I am the original owner of my '05SE and have never been able to control the other windows when the lock is engaged. Yes, it is very irritating.
