window sticking (rear door...not tailgate)

1990 4 door runner:
The passenger door window will only roll down halfway before it stops. I can push/pull it down/up while powering the motor and it works. Seems like the tracks are sticky. I sent some armor all down the tracks to see if that helped...no difference though.

Anyone ever have a similar problem?
How'd ya fix it?

Well I tried to get the door panel off but the door handle trim piece would NOT come off. Even with the screw for it removed it was as if it was bolted into the steel door from inside. So I put a TON of armor all down the inside of the window and the tracks and kept moving it up and down. It works now.
Wish I coulda seen exactly what was causing the problem though.
