Window Tint... anyone running lighter in the fronts?

I'm contemplating tinting the front two windows 35% to show some contrast between the rear windows (20% factory privacy glass) to reduce the chances of getting hassled by the cops in CA. Anyone have any pictures of how that would look?


Also, I might just tint the rear windows 50% or 35% over the factory privacy glass to get the true UV blockage in my entire car to keep it cool.. how much darker would the rear windows get?

Yes. I have 35% in the front windows. The back has 5% OVER the factory tinted glass. Basically the back half is black and you can not see inside at all even with direct sun on it. It's awesome. I wish i could have the fronts darker, but, cops in Arlington, VA are kinda strict.

I just got this done yesterday along with the ceramic film on the windshield. It is 35% film over the factory 20ish with 35% on the front windows. I wanted darker up front but this is barely legal in Hawaii and less than legal in California where I will be soon. Equivalent to about a 10% tint on the back windows.

I went 15% on the front and changed to 35%. The 15 was nice during the day but too dark at night so I changed to 35 which is s bit light. I wish they had a 25 and it would be perfect

:thanks: If that question was for me, this is the best I could find without taking more photos :thumb3:: No photo, but my sunroof is also 35% tint.

It's definitely NOT "blacked out," but dark enough for me. Windows on the rear doors, side, and rear lift, are definitely darker than front.
