Window tint to match the rear?

Has anyone here tinted the front windows and found a close match to the factory rear tint? Any advice appreciated.

I did. It's not exact. I went lighter than the darker rears. The next darkest tint would have been too dark and would have looked odd. I think my fronts are 30%.

30% here also. They told me "more" would be looking for trouble with the law in my area. I like the result but there is a difference with the front.

I had mine done, but I really never asked the guy what percentage they were. These guys really know their stuff. They only strange thing is from the inside they look darker than the rest as you look out, but from the outside they are almost dead on.

Window Tint 20%

I just purchased a limited and had the fronts tinted to 20%. They are a match to the rest of the car, but as mentioned above, they are a tad darker when looking out. Took about a day to get over that. If it's legal in your area, go for it.

What percentage is the stock tint in the rear? And what percentage did you add to it??

I have 20% in the front also, definitely a little darker than stock, i have to roll down my windows at night to back down my long driveway which is pitch black...haha

Hitman> The tint guy said there were about 20%. I added a layer of 35% over top and the final percentage is about 12-15%.

stock = 20%
added 35%
final = 15%.

front = 54% (roughly)
final = 25%

Previous owner did 5% on the backs and 15% on the fronts and it keeps the truck a little cooler in the summer and it's harder to peek inside.

I've had a few inquiries about what window tints I have on my rig because the tints seem to match well, (car is listed for sale on EBay).
The tints are Solar Gard HD Charcoal 32 reflective on the front 2 windows, and Solar Gard HD Charcoal 20 reflective on the rear side windows in addition to the factory tinting. I left the tailgate glass stock with no additional tinting, except of course for the factory tinting. I think it worked out pretty well.

I'd like to tint mine, so I've asked about what I have on the back. I was told that they are 20%.
