AVS also makes an in-channel visor. I had them for a while. I liked the look but I didnt like haw the window struggled to go up. I ended up removing them. I plan to get a set of AVS ones that tape to the outside soon.

I just removed my AVS tape-ons. Free to good home, just pay shipping. They’re in good shape, just be aware you will need to remove the remaining tape/residue on the back of each visor before installing. First PM gets them. Pics on request.

I’ve had a set of Weathertech in-channel in all four windows for 9 years now (same set) and couldn’t be happier. They’re quiet, perfectly functional in inclement weather when I want the windows “cracked”, are AWESOME at dissipating reverb and wind buffering when windows are down at freeway+ speeds and look very clean.
Since installing in 2009 I have read accounts of folks removing in-channel and the physical window now fitting loose in the frame/seals but I can’t ever see removing mine for the reasons above. I once had the front pass. one dislodge and fall out during an aggressive hand car wash and WT sent me a brand new set of fronts. Hell, I still have the new driver side in my gagrage should I ever need to replace that one.
In all fairness, I’ve never used an external set but I couldn’t be happier with my in-channel set.
I took this picture after suspension install but hopefully you get a sense for WT look on a white 4th Gen. If you want another couple better illustrating the windows, I can do that.
