Does anyone have strong recommendation for a glass repair company in socal.

Our windshield has a mall crack and would like to repair

Hey Danny, if the crack can be fixed I would try to go that way. I had my 3rd gen windshield replaced about 1 year of ownership. I still own it and now it has rust at the driver side corner an rust at the top. This is all due to the seals not sitting properly or installer error. If you plan on keeping your 4r for a long time just be aware if you replace the windshield.

Windshield

I had a small stone chip that became a 1/2 inch crack and called Auto Club for info on repair. They recommended All Star Glass 800-263-9116. A service tech came from their Fountain Valley location to my house and charged $59 for the crack repair. That may be an Auto Club referral price. One year guarantee.

I was concerned about their experience for a full replacement. I asked the tech and he knew about the windshield heater and wire location. Sounded like he has done a few.
