Hey everyone, I have a question... Has anyone ever swapped out their stock stream style washer nozles for a fan type? When I had my old Lexus SC300, I had the RX330 nozzles on it and the fan pattern was much more effective than the stream from the stock ones. I may try installing a set and seeing how it works, just not sure if they are the same like they were on my SC. I did a quick search, but it doesnt look like its been covered before. I figured a lot of you guys up north would benefit from a better spray pattern when using them to de-ice your windshield. Thanks in advance guys.

wow... i even searched. i searched "nozzle" though and couldnt find anything. lol. i appologise for my lack of searchability... its been a while since i was on a forum. haha. thanks for the link. ill let you all know here and on the other thread if i find something that fits.

Here to revive a 12 year old post.. if you still have your 4runner and you’re looking for fan-type windshield washer nozzles I found the solution. Nozzles from a 2002-2009 Chevy blazer work amazingly. I wish I could post a video of mine. Anyway here’s the link, trust me you won’t regret it.

I have FJ sprayer nozzles on my 4runner works fine gets the whole windshield and 2010 Lexus IS oem wipers just because they look better than the thin one we have.
Get the PIAA Super Silicone wipers with the old-school steel frames. Expensive the first time, but can buy refills for less than $10 a side.
Bonus is it's like having rain-x on all the time. I find I run the wipers way less now than I used to.

I did this mod a while back using the sprayers from Amazon linked by [MENTION=672519]Echo5rome0[/MENTION] above. The swap itself couldn't be easier. Results? I'd say 4.5 stars out of 5 b/c with the replacement sprayers, there's a delay, kind of a pulse, when you trigger the switch that squirts out a little washer fluid onto the hood (see video below), then the full spray comes out and covers the windshield. Does the job nicely once it gets going but the fluid on the hood may bother some users. Some pics and notes:
Here's what you get, the nozzles, gaskets, and a screwdriver for adjustments.
It comes oriented vertically, like this:
Use the small flat-head screwdriver to rotate it 90° so it's horizontal and also tilt it up as far as possible (it's not tilted up yet in this pic).
Side by side:
Disconnect the hose on the underside of the hood, then remove by compressing the tabs using something that won't scratch the paint. This shows the nozzle partially out during removal.
To install, just press the new washer down into the hole through the new gasket until the tabs lock then reconnect the hose. Make sure the brass nozzle is fully tilted up and check it now and again b/c it's not hard to move it, for example if you're wiping down the hood after a car wash, etc.
Spray:

I thought I used Tacoma ones on my 4runner, I vaguely remember having to use new washer line to loop it a bit to account for the right angle fitting. But it's been years since I did it so I'm a little fuzzy on the details.

I recall someone saying they tried Tacoma nozzles and they had right angle fittings so your memory sounds correct.
