So, I went to get my 4Runner from the long term airport parking lot. There was about 2 inches on snow on the windshield. I didn't have a snow brush and the snow wasn't frozen. Warmed the car up and then used the wipers. It took the snow right off. Anyway, as I drive for a few mins, I think snow iced up from the wind. I then try to use the wipers again, but now they're stuck. Tried a few more times and no go. They wouldn't even budge.
After I stop to clean the ice off the windshield, the wipers worked again. The following morning I use the wipers, but now there's this low pitch "rotary noise," it sounds like gears grinding. I'm sure last night's malfunction has gotten worse. I wonder if I should get it looked into.
