Hello, newbie here. I've got an 85 4Runner SR5 and need to get the windshield replaced. Two pieces of the chrome trim came off and much of the rubber trim has shrunk or disintegrated. I want to keep this thing in near restored shape and want to use the correct hardware. Does anybody have a windshield parts source so I don't get raped? I think the trim alone is about $300 at the dealer :bugeye: plus all the bits and pieces. I'm friends with the guy who does all the windshields for our big Lexus dealer, so I know it will be done right...but I want the right parts, and he can only get the glass. Also, I'm moving from Dallas to Phoenix, right now truck pretty much goes to Home Depot. Looking forward to being able to put it to good use! Also, any recommended shop in the Metro Phoenix area and I'm all ears. Already looking into oversized radiator etc....
