Winter Gas?

not sure about you guys, but when i fill up, i no longer get 350 miles on the computer.

i never break 300 anymore. could gas stations still be using winter gas which results in lower gas mileage?

v8 4x4 in so cal.

Gas stations, by either federal, state or local laws are require to change gas from summer to winter blends by a certain date and cease the use of blended fuel by a certain date. Some states such as California use winter blend year around in certain counties. This information should be posted at the pump or the information should be available inside the station. Also CARB (California Air Resources Board) should have it listed on their WEB site.

I routinely get 360-70 with about 20gallon fill-up, and 400 occasionally with the same amount of fuel. 300 seems... well, really low for a 4th gen.

I have a V6 and used to get over 400 miles when filling the tank full. Now I'm getting between 370 and 380. I have about 12k miles on it. I was wondering myself why it has dropped some.

it sounds like your computer needs to be reset by disconnecting your battery. That solved this same issue when I had my 2006 4Runner. You'll have to normalize your windows, sunroof and back window, but it will give the computer a chance to adapt to your driving habits.

I am referring to the number shown after you gas up on the monitor.
