I went for a run in the Crowsnest Pass yesterday with a few buddies/CT4WD members from Calgary. Pretty mellow day as we didn't quite get into any of the trails I had planned on running. More on that later...

Ahh the lovely part of snow wheeling. :) hey at least the dent is only on one door. Your pretty lucky. I would just rock the dent if it was on my truck, (partly because i dont car and partly because i only have liability insurance) but i have a feeling it will be looking back to perfect in no time.

If you have insurance im sure you can get it taken care of, or at least a nice check

Yah the truck is a bummer, but like you said, it could have been worse. VERY close to hitting the B-Pillar and Roof. Then it would have been real bad... I have a spare door from my donor 4Runner I bought when I did my E-locker swap. It's black and has the holes in it from the limited cladding but I will probably just rock a black door for the rest of winter and in the spring fill the cladding holes and paint it to match.
 
Awesome pics! Like the others said, sorry about the door, but definitely lucky that it looks to be contained to just the door.

I have a friend that would say "This is why we can't have nice things" while surveying the damage.

It hurts me to see your door like that, glad you have a spare.

Thanks Jared! It's going to hurt me to have to run a multi-colored "Frankenyota" for the rest of the winter, more than anything! haha

Thanks! That it is....although it was a balmy -25C outside (-13F for most of you...) so it was pretty cold.

Yah I bumped the truck around 11am and wheeled to 6pm so it didnt dampen my spirits enough to keep me from having some more fun.

Those two Cruisers are pretty monstrous!!!
The red one is a JDM HDJ81 diesel. Slee 6" with 37" Toyos, ARB etc. His brother owns the other big "sage green" coloured one and is a 40th anniversary edition, F+R lockers, ARB, Slee 6" and 35's. Both rigs are sssuuuppeeerrrr sick and always make me want an 80.... as for more pics of them, none this trip. Both are in my Whipsaw photos though somewhere on here....
 
Victor just texted me about the recent wheeling trip you guys took...Just had to check it out myself...and awesome it turned out to be.......'xcept that minor incident you had, A. But I'm glad it's an easy fixer upper for you.

I'd just leave the damaged door on for the rest of winter, just in case you have the same issue again on the same side, but that is thinking pessimistically...
 
I was looking at those pictures thinking, "thatd be awesome to go snow wheeling." and then i saw that last one and thought, "Ehh, maybe not." but sorry about the door man, luckily you have a spare
