So I have had my 4runner for a few month and now that I have a little money to spend on it I wanna show you guys my plans and also some question I has about the car.
So im not sure if im on drugs or what but does the sr5 not have automatic dome lights that come on in the front seats? Every car i have owned has this feature and it wasnt until i realized my 4runner doesnt do it that it bothers me alot?

As of right now all i have done is my front windows are tinted 15% but I dont have picture of it yet.

My plans are as followed.
1. Tubular Running Boards - Looking in the for sale section for those
2. 3k Fogs and 6k Low beams HIDS - DDM
3. In-Dash - Havent decided yet but i want to be able to use SD cards for my music and videos
4. Sub - I want the OEM one that is hidden but dont know what i need to hook it up. is there a harness that needs to be plugged up or do i install it like any other system?
5. So im planning a trip in June and im needed to bring luggage. My wife thinks i should buy one of those EGG things but im thinks a Luggage Carrier Basket should be enough? and if it rains i can put a tarp on top? What do you guys recommended?
6. Bull Bar - saw some on ebay but im not sure if those are reliable.
Im love how this looks -

haha. I'll give you some love... the front dome light (I think they are map lights) don't come on for me either. The middle and back rear dome lights come on though. I put in white LEDs. That was an easy swap. And for the front map lights I put in yellow LEDs. As for your other mods, they all sound cool. Keep us posted on what you do next.

So i bought some sport running boards and just ordered my hids. 6k low and 3k fogs...im gonna hokd off on the bull bar and now focus on the roof rack. Now being i have never owned a suv and never had to deal with roof racks im completely lost as to what to buy. Im going on a trip in june and i wanted to put all our luggage on top. Would this combo be safe to use?

Like most things, you get what you pay for. I've been shopping roof racks/cargo carriers for a few months now. If your plan for either of these is more of a temporary use, go for it, but mind your weight limits. If your looking for more of a permanent fixture, spend a little more and go with quality. Also, not sure how handy you are, but there seem to be some decent DIY options posted here as well.

I would also say to take into account, is that with stuff on your roof you are more likely to suffer lower mpgs due to the increase in drag. Another suggestion would possibly be something like a bumper buddy or basically a big caddy that goes into your hitch on the rear thus less drag.

Looks like what he's talking about. I would get one that's raised if you need to use it while off road as it may scrape when going up hills.

actually i just bought that same exact carrier from etrailer along with the recommended anti-rattle lockable hitch pin- $116 shipped to my door...easy to put together and its seems like good quality- havent used it yet...its a straight shank with no lift

etrailer seems to be a very reputable place to buy from- free shipping on $99^ orders...i got mine 2 days later
