does anyone know if you can put new style wipers on in place of the old ones? do they make an adapter, or can you replace the whole arm? thanks guys

My 2015 truck has the same style wiper arms as my 85 4runner.. I don't get the question?

He's is talking about the end attachment on the arm he has not attempted to replace it.

You just need to unscrew or pull off the current adapter and put the new style hook adapter on. Most wipers are sold with the adapters.

i already bought replacements thinking they would have the adapter and it would be no problem. but they didn't have the right one in the adapters that came with it. so i didn't know if either that set of wipers didn't come with it, or they didn't make an adapter for these wipers bc of maybe the age of the car or wiper style? i haven't tried another set yet bc i thought id ask here before i wasted more time buying new ones.

the other reason i was checking bc on my 2004 land rover discovery, the wipers are specific to that exact car and you have to buy special land rover factory replacements which suck compared to newer blades. or you can buy arms from an earlier gen 94-98 disco and swap them out and then use anything thats universal.
