Wire connector loose - what is it?

There are 3 male/female white plastic connectors in a bunch right below the intake manifold hanging above the oil filter. Two of them are connected (male port goes into female port) but the third one is empty just having female plastic connector with no male connector going in it. Right next to them is one dangling male connector but it is green and looks slightly different although it looks like it will fit, I can
