Wire harness insulation?

Soon to be in the process of taking off my upper intake manifold to get to my injectors and have them serviced by witchhunter. And ive developed a leak from the coolant pipe that runs around the backside of the head and into the bottom of the lower manifold. So...while i have it all apart i wanted to clean up my harness, as it is an electric tape nightmare, no heatshrink,no proper insulation, just electric tape;and some wires just look delicate. What do most of you prefer to use to insulate the ENTIRE harness. Im having a hell of a time finding a cost effective heatshrink or similar. :smash:

So any advice or insight on this would be appreciated

Buy some split wire loom and wrap it in that. Put a small loop of electrical tape every few inches on the loom to keep everything in place. You can get on Ebay and buy a bulk amount of it in various sizes for probably 20 bucks. That gives you the option to wrap each part of the harness with the correct size wire loom and it will look professional and clean.

Exactly what i had in mind, just was unsure of what direction most take. Thanks for the suggestion.For future reference for myself and others im going to post a link or two when i find something that fits the bill.
