Wiring Diagram request...white/purple wire

Since I don't yet have my hands on a wiring diagram, can one of you with one help me out? I'm trying to figure out what a wire is that was cut by the previous owner of my 1999 limited.

It is located under the steering column, running horizontally, and for some reason is running on top of the wire loom for the main harness. It is definitely a stock wire, though.

The color is white, with a purple stripe. I can't really see where it would be going, but if you can tell me what it controls, that would be sweet.

Alright, I purchased a 1-day TIS account, and downloaded the entire wiring manual. I cannot find one reference to a W-V wire (White/violet).

So, perhaps it isn't stock after all...

I hate this shizz.

someone may have installed a remote start in the unit and removed it.
It almost sounds like the clock or status wait wire.

Hey ambush. Yes, the previous owner installed an Autopage remote start system. It was mostly removed before I bought it. I found some remnants of it (the antenna on the windshield, some wire, etc).

But I still haven't seen a white/violet wire in the toyota wiring diagram...so I'm thinking it isn't stock...in which case I need to follow it back into the dash and see where it's going.

I think I just found it! These instructions came from an AutoPage RS-655 remote start system:

WHITE/VIOLET WIRE:
POSITIVE SAFETY SHUT DOWN INPUT
This wire provides an instant shutdown for the remote start, whenever it gets +12volts. If the brake lights switch in the vehicle switches +12 volts to the brake light circuit, connect this wire to the output side of the brake switch. This will allow the remote start to shut down if an attempt is made to operate the vehicle without the key while running under the control of the remote start. In most vehicles, in order to shift gear, the
brake pedal must be depressed. The brake input will in turn cause the
remote start unit to shut off.

So, I think I'm OK assuming this is the same wire (I don't know which model AutoPage was installed and removed).
