I have an '04 Limited with JBL 10 speaker w/ in dash changer. I searched google, crutchfield, etc., as well as the forum and have been unable to locate a wiring harness for my car. Is there one? I'm not concerned about the dash kit because I'm going to do a custom one, but I'd really rather not cut up my factory harness.

I used to have a 2000 Celica GT-S. That car also has a factory amp. To install an aftermarket head unit you can bypass the factory amp using metra part# 70-7712, aka a 96+ Rodeo harness. It plugs right into the factory amp plug behind the glove box. All you do is test each wire (the colors are not correct, just the shape of the plug), and run 3 ft of speaker wire to your new HU. you will have to repin one wire on the harness for one of the speakers. This way there is no cutting of factory wiring and no need to **** around with stupid line level converters.
