Quick question for you guys.... Am I able to wire a 400w inverter into the rear cig lighter of a 2005 sport ed.? Or will I need to run a separate cable from my distribution block feeding my amp?
If I am correct, this power is constant as well, even after the ACC is turned off. Or is it switched? However, the car will automatically cut the power if it detects a power drain after 10 minutes or so if it isnt switched, correct?
And/or, since I removed my head unit and amp, is there a switched 12v line running to the amp that I can tap into? I belive it is the gray wire according to the diagrams.
Unfortunately my knowledge of wiring is lacking a bit, so any advice would be appreciated!
