Wiring up driving lights to high beam

Hey guy's,
Looking for a wiring diagram to run my driving lights only when my high beam lights are on .
I would like to run through a switch on the center console ( to isolate the driving lights from the high's) and a relay in the engine bay.
High beam wiring has me a bit stumped right now .

If you mean your fog lights when you refer to "driving lights", then the link from Doozi is what you want.

FYI, fog lights and driving lights are 2 totally different animals. Fog lights are typically mounted low on the vehicle and provide a wide short beam pattern. Temperatures in the 2500K-3500K (more yellow) provide better contrast in poor weather and lamp wattages are usually 35-55 watts. Other than nights when my standard driving lights cause glare from fog, rain, snow, etc., my fog lights see very very limited use (as opposed to those ****heads that run them full time).

Driving lights are mounted as high as possible, provide a narrow, long beam with typical temperatures above 3500K. These are for distance and tend to be higher wattage to the point of being illegal for on-road use. You'll see true driving lights mounted on top of vehicles.

Sorry for the confusion , I am mounting a set of Lightforce 170 striker driving lights to my newly installed ARB bullbar . I see some guys wire through a standalone switch , but I want mine to come on/off with the high beam and have a separate switch in the circuit so I can chose to have them on or not ??? This is how I have wired driving lights in the past .

No worries got it sorted out, I ended up tapping into the low beam circuit , this goes to the switch in the center console , then back to the relay . She works exactly as I wanted , thanks for the help.

Clarification

Hey there, I am interested in wiring a "driving light" to my Highs as well. I could figure it out so I took it to a local shop. Told me it wasn't possible due to fact I have a 2003 limited with auto lights. How did you finally get it done? Do you have a limited? Thanks

I have my driving lights wired to only turn on when the brights are on. The trick is that the factory wiring for the brights is switched on the ground side. So if you use a relay for your driving lights ground the trigger to the ground wire for the brights. Thus the relay will only switch on when you have the bright on. I also have a regular switch on the positive side of the relay trigger also.

Not sure what your shop is saying about the auto lights.

My answer to the Toy 'grounded light circuit' issue

I was being particular, I wanted my auxillary (driving lights mounted on bull bar) lights to come on manually, OR, come on automatically with my high beams, OR, stay off. Oh, and I wanted to use a fatcory looking switch.

I used the A/B switch from Anytimebackupcamera.com (no zombies in my neighborhood).

As has been mentioned Toys GROUND the selected light rather than apply a 12volt supply.

On the manual side I used a standard 4-pin relay, triggered with the 12volts from the switch, typical lighting circuit.

For the automatic side, same circuit as before, another relay EXCEPT I interupted the 'B' side feed from the switch with one more relay (3 total) triggered by powering (not grounding) the 3rd relay contact on one side and using the high beam ground on the other. When it fires, it completes the 12 volt 'B' feed circuit for relay #2
