Wisconsin 4R's

There are alot of Runners here. 3rd and mostly 4th gen. There are no clubs or get togethers , nobody to wheel with, I usually go out myself....not good.

No 4wd shops that even know anything about the 4R for lifts / spacers ect...

Nobody to share experiences with ect....

That is one thing I liked about the Hummer H3 , they have meets every 4 months and go up north and go 4 wheeling with instructors. The people all caravan from the 4 different Hummer dealers in wi.
They have a Hummer Green Bay Packer outing every year and have roped off parking at the Lambeau Field. Camping get together up in the north woods.

Just gets frustrating.............

I'm just south of you across the border (cheddar curtain) in Illinois. I am close to Great America, so if you want to get together for some wheelin I am up for it. I know of a local mudpit we can go to if you are interested, let me know.

Count me in too... I am in Lake Villa. I don't surf this forum too much so email me at [email protected] if you are gonna go wheelin. I have a nice tow strap I can bring.

Well, I'm always in school. Had a career going then, BLAM! Need to find something else. Oh well, at least I can take advantage of the opportunity and get it out of the way going full time. I am sick of not having the extra money floating around though. Oh well only a couple of years.

Catman , what the hell happened , bummer.

Eh, life happened. Seriously, nothing a little education can't fix. I'm a heavy equipment operator and my neck is not happy with my choice of profession. I guess the same can be said of my knee's too. So, I'll move on to better pastures with less physical strain. Just gotta focus on getting through school. Gotta tackle anatomy next semester, thats going to be interesting.

I resigned from my job in Oct. this year. So I understand the money stuff ...... someday maybe I'll go back to work when something fun comes along.

Just needed time off to regroup , relax , ect... I've got my retirement set , my mortgage paid off , all the cars paid off except my lease on the 4R. I was blessed and managed my money well.

Another willing wheeler here. I live in the western part of the U.P. My family and I are always up for a trip of wheeling, camping and gathering. Count me in.

Spensane,

We should definately get together for camping and wheeling. We camped a total of 41 nights this year. Next summer we should set something up for a weekend, maybe around the Dells?

Devils Lake Is a nice place to camp, either at or near. That is near Baraboo Wi. Also can look at Eagle Cave campground west of Madison, very nice place indeed I stayed there for 3 nights a while back. Govenor Dodge (I think) campground in Dodge county is also nice. If looking to set something up for next year I think we could be in as well.

I would be up for that , also need a place that we can go on trails in the area ( legally of course ) , not rock crawling , but some nice trails to play.

With springtime here we should re-open this thread and think about a a time to get together for a little wheel'n. I know of a spot we can go that is just south of the Wisco. border. What do you guys think? Falls, Gizmo the rest of you guys up for it? This would just be a 1 day outing, kind of "meet and greet" if you will.

I am still interested in setting up a weekend camping trip for a bunch of us if there is interest, but that wont be until summer.

Let me know what you guys think.
